Fusion CSO is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, objectivity, and professional independence in all our engagements. Because we work with a range of clients and partners, some of whom compete with eachother, we acknowledge the importance of maintaining confidentiality of any information acquired throughout our interactions.

This Conflict of Interest Policy explains how we will identify, disclose, and manage any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.  It applies to:

• All employees, contractors, subcontractors and directors of Fusion CSO; and
• All engagements with clients, partners, or subcontracting entities.

A conflict of interest may arise when personal, financial, business, or other interests could:

• Compromise our ability to act objectively and in the best interests of our clients and/or partners;
• Unduly influence the advice, analysis, or services we provide; or
• Create competing loyalties between multiple parties.

We will actively identify any conflicts

• Review all new projects and potential partnerships against existing client relationships and obligations.
• Assess whether previous work may give rise to perceived conflicts.
• Evaluate personal or financial interests that could influence professional judgement.

We will disclose and manage any conflicts we identify

• Promptly notify the relevant client or partner, including the nature of the conflict, its potential impact, and proposed management strategies.
• Establish information barriers between our experts and partners to prevent inappropriate information sharing;
• Withdraw from specific aspects of an engagement; and/or
• Decline work where a conflict cannot be adequately managed.

We will preference the first party to engage us

While we do not operate on an exclusive basis, we respect and prioritise the first party that approaches us for a specific matter. Any further engagement on related opportunities will be assessed carefully to avoid compromising confidentiality, impartiality, or trust.
